Missing pedestrian bollard close on the High Street Lincoln town centre LN5 7DQ - Find a freedom of information request

Request

1. Any injuries reported/sustained by members of the pubic in relation to damage to a hole in the pavement caused by a missing pedestrian bollard close on the High Street Lincoln town centre LN5 7DQ.

2. Any reports of damage to the pavement in the area of LN5 7DQ.

3. Details of any reports to damage to a pedestrian bollard close to 327 High Street LN5 7DQ or on the High Street.

4. How and when this damage occurred.

5. In relation to FixMyStreet report reference 469622 what was contained in the the Highways Officer investigation, and what repairs were carried out including date and time.

Decision

1. Lincolnshire County Council (LCC) have received no reports of any injuries sustained at that location due to a missing bollard.

2. Two reports received enquiry numbers 469622 and 469899.

3. Enquiry 469622 describes One of the cast iron bollards is missing leaving a hole exposed which is over 227mm wide and 330mm deep. Enquiry 469899 describes Whole Bollard removed or stolen(?) leaving a large deep hole. Just past Railway Tracks seating area. (Betting Shop and Arcade).

4. LCC records do not describe how the damage occurred, but our first report came through at 14:51 on 02/09/23

5. On 06/09/23 the highways officer closed the enquiry down as complete as works had be undertaken on 05/09/23 at 20:40 to fill the area of missing bollard with material, these works were under job number 4628852 (for reference).
