The sale of the TGT site to Chrysaor - Find a freedom of information request

1. Please could you tell me if the planning approval granted to Chrysaor ref PL\0180\19 is subject to a time frame? Before the sale of the TGT site to Chrysaor, National Grid published a statement that decommissioning works would be completed by April 2023.

The information we have from LCC states that following the completion of the demolition and remediation works subject of this approval the site shall be restored to agriculture land in accordance with the planning permissions LR\0536\69 E\402\86 E\774\86 E\2220\90 E\1012\91 E\2143\91 E\1353\93 E\0907\97 E\0563\96

2. Can you also confirm that the site will be restored to agriculture land

I can confirm that the information requested is held by Lincolnshire County Council. I have detailed below the information that is being released to you.

1. Application reference PL/00180/19 relates to a Prior Approval decision which was issued 10 January 2020 relating to demolition works.

Whilst the information supporting that application/request may have identified specific timeframes, the decision itself prescribes a date by when the works should be completed.

This is cited in Condition 2 of that decision that states the works approved by that decision shall be carried out within 5 years of the date of that decision (i.e. by no later than 10 January 2025)

2. Yes as confirmed by Condition 3 of the Prior Approval decision (and requirements of the existing planning permissions) the land is required to be restored to agricultural land.
