1. The order was introduced following completion of the statutory process of consultation and public advertisement, in accordance the Local Authorities' Traffic Orders Regulations 1996. The extension of the 30mph limit is to encourage a reduction in vehicle speeds as they approach the bend in the road.

7. Cllr Wootten provided full support to the reduction, Staying Alive proposed no issues with the speed limit change. No other responses from other stat consultees or as a result of public advert.

8. LCC are in the process of changing to a different mapping system so the current one is not being updated

9. The extension of the 30mph limit reflects the general speed of vehicles as they negotiate the bend in the road. A copy of the policy is attached.
