- Service Description
-
This free workshop, part of the Lincolnshire County Council Domestic Abuse Education Programme, is available to all Year 6 children in Lincolnshire.
Through engaging and thought-provoking activities, students will explore the concept of identity, create their own social identity maps, and reflect on their core values.
They’ll take part in lively discussions around what aspects of identity can change—such as careers, friendships, and romantic relationships—and what should remain consistent.
The workshop also uses real-life scenarios to help students recognise healthy and unhealthy relationships, understand peer pressure and controlling behaviour, and explore the bystander effect.
Students will also be introduced to the concept of locus of control, helping them understand how it shapes their identity and decision-making. This session supports personal development and prepares students to make informed, respectful choices as they grow.
