2. Is your maintenance work for clearing gullies carried by a contractor or your own staff?
3. What type of equipment is used? Eg do you own a gully sucker? Or do your contractors use a gully stucker?
4. Have you used new technology for your gully clearing? If so, please give details. Specifically have you used In Touch Ltd SmartWater sensors https://www.intouch-ltd.com/smartwater/gully-systems or do you have plans to do so? If so, what, if any, reductions in cost and/or reductions in blockages have resulted?

1. All Lincolnshire County Council (LCC) gullies are on a schedule of either annual or biennial cleansing, with reactive jetting ordered on an ad hoc basis as required.
2. By a contractor.
3. Yes, the gully cleansing programme is undertaken with a gully tanker, these are provided by the contractor.
4. No in Touch SmartWater sensors are currently used. LCC continually review its highway operations and investigate new innovations.
