Decision

1.

• calendar year 2022: 56

• calendar year 2023: 51 2. On average, 1.41 vehicles turned out for this type of incident over the past two years. (please note this response is not the same as Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue’s (LFR) PDA for this type of incident.)

3. On average, 3.88 riders were present on the vehicles turning out to this type of incident over the past two years.

4. LFR will assist ambulance colleagues if the repositioning or moving of a person is required to improve their medical condition. This is only completed by three stations in the service where it has second appliances provided through on call colleagues. If they are available, LFR will maintain its availability, if not it will determine if its next nearest asset will have the ability to respond within the given response standards or it will move an appliance to provide strategic cover.

5. Due to moving between reporting systems for this type of data, LFR was not able to get this in the time frame mandated, but these types of injuries have happened in the service before, including a confirmed case in 2020. This will be obtainable if you want to re-submit.

6. This depends on what is meant by associated service costs, if the request doesn't meet the agreed service level agreement LFR apply paid special service costs to the requesting agency.

7. Yes, LFR has a few additional items such as slide and repositioning sheets, plus a mediwrap style stretcher.
