Fire authority fleet FOI request

Under the Freedom of Information Act, I would like to request the following information:

1) How many vehicles do you have across the whole fleet (please provide data for the past 3 years)?

Please break down vehicles in Q1 by

a) vehicle type (i.e. make / model)

Please break down vehicles in Q1 by

b) fuel type (i.e. petrol / diesel / hybrid / full electric)

2) How much do you spend annually on refuelling costs for vehicles in Q1 (please provide data for the past 3 years)?

3) What is the average annual mileage per vehicle for vehicles in Q1?

4) Do you have (and if yes, how many) electric vehicle chargers at your vehicle fleet base/HQ?

I can confirm that the information requested is held by Lincolnshire County Council. I have detailed below the information that is being released to you.

There are currently no EV chargers on LFR premises

Please note: Where a vehicle is described as ‘off fleet’ it means that the vehicle was no longer operated in that financial year so the previous year’s mileage was the final year and could have left the fleet at any time during those 12 months One Ducato left fleet in 2021/22 so the 128 is its final figure – the other two left fleet 2022/23 so the figures show are their respective final figures. If 2023/24 was included then these three vehicles would all read ‘off fleet’

This data is for financial years.

Under section 31 (1)(a) of the FOI Act 200 vehicle registration numbers have been withheld from this response Section 31 provides a prejudice based exemption which protects a variety of law enforcement interests and is subject to the public interest test. When considering a prejudice test any precedent effects as a result of disclosure can be taken into account.
