A153 Horncastle Road road repair history - Find a freedom of information request

Request

1) A copy of the road repair history for that road over the past year. Again, please send me the full road repair history, but this should include:

 

a) dates of all safety inspections between 17th January 2023 to 17th January 2024.

b) details of how safety inspections were undertaken (walked or driven, speed of inspection vehicle etc)

c) details of all carriageway defects identified, with description, including depth, date and time

d) details of how the authority handled these defects, what repairs were undertaken and the time between the identification of each defect and a repair being carried out.

 

2) How many complaints have the council received about this road over the last year period up to and including 17th January 2024?

 

3) How many claims have the council received about this road in the last year period up to and including the repair date?

 

4) How many pot holes has the council repaired on this road in the last year period up to and including the incident date so from 17th January 2023 to 17th January 2024.

 

5) Has less work been done as a result of COVID and is this is having an impact on poor state of roads and repair and (repair schedules)

 

6) What did the report advise for the inspection with regards to this defect that was reported initially on 2nd January 2024?

 

7) Also in all the inspections and pot holes recorded in the last year period how many are picked by inspection and how many are reported? and what is the time frame for repair?

 

8) How often are ad hoc inspections carried out by the Council on the A153?

8. Ad hoc inspections can be carried out via FixMyStreet reports from members of the public outside of routine inspections, and also if an officer identifies a defect when travelling to and from other locations.  It is difficult to identify how often this would take place.
