Decision

1. Lincolnshire County Council does not receive government funding for asylum seekers/refugees generally. However, LCC do receive additional grant funding from government for local delivery of the Homes for Ukraine Scheme. The scheme offers temporary sanctuary to those fleeing the conflict in Ukraine. It is not considered a refugee resettlement scheme. If visa applications are successful, this currently allows Homes for Ukraine visa holders a stay in the UK for up to 18 months.

Between October 2023-October 2024 Lincolnshire County Council has provided £115,000 to the Community & Voluntary Sector who are supporting the Ukrainian cohort.

2. No.
