Flooding in South Witham

1. I would like a copy of the initial investigation of the drainage system. 

LCC can advise that when issuing the work to our appointed contractor no ‘report’ was produced as such.

Instead, the works were raised through our IT software under a Job Reference.

The description of the works was as per the below: “Clean and trace all drainage, excavate and clean all ditches, clean and sweep all channels”. As outlined by an update on FixMyStreet report 2806759 the works were not completed to a satisfactory standard and as such our appointed contractor has been instructed to reattend site (under Job Reference 5790563) and complete the work as per the initial instruction.

At the time of writing, the programme date for these works is the 27th of January 2025, although this may be subject to change.
