Prepaid cards in relation to direct payments - Find a freedom of information request

I am writing to submit a request for information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000. I would be grateful if you could provide the following details regarding the use of prepaid cards in relation to direct payments by your authority:

1) Does your authority use prepaid cards for managing direct payments and/or Appointeeship and Deputyship?

a) If yes, please provide details of the company or provider supplying these prepaid cards.

b) What is the start date and the end date of your current contract with the prepaid card provider?

I can confirm that the information requested is held by Lincolnshire County Council. I have detailed below the information that is being released to you.

1) Does your authority use prepaid cards for managing direct payments and/or Appointeeship and Deputyship? Yes, for Direct Payments, no for Appointeeship and Deputyship.

a) If yes, please provide details of the company or provider supplying these prepaid cards. For Direct Payments – the provider is AllPay Ltd.

b) What is the start date and the end date of your current contract with the prepaid card provider? All contractual information is publicly available.

As a local authority, Lincolnshire County Council (LCC) is required to publish all its contracts over the value of £500.
