Mental Health Absence

Potholes

1. 2022 - 1400

2023 - 1827

2024 – 1572

2. 2022 - 489

2023 - 382

2024 – 212

3. 2022 - £127,108.32

2023 - £70,804.77

2024 - £29,931.61

4. The average length of time between a pothole repair being ordered and completed is 25.38 days.

This is based on the average time between order and completion for the individual pothole repairs we issue; we order some repairs on generic orders where we don't hold the data to be able to provide an average, and many are addressed by planned or preventative maintenance where there isn't a 1:1 link between defect identification and repair completion.

5. As of 30th December 2024, the number of potholes which have been ordered and are awaiting completion is 1040.

This number varies daily as we receive around 500 reports of potholes a week from the public, some of which generate additional repair orders after inspection.

We also carry out routine safety inspections almost daily where we might identify further potholes to repair. In addition, the potholes we order repairs for tend to be of a depth and severity that could present a potential safety defect, so there will likely be further potholes in the County we have deemed don't require an immediate repair and so don't have a job raised against them.
