1.  As of 1st December 2024, does your local authority collect data on how many women aged between 16-25 years old in your local authority are subjected to child protection proceedings during and or after their pregnancy?

2.   If 'Yes' to question 1, how many women aged between 16-25 years old in your local authority were subjected to child protection proceedings during and or after their pregnancy during the financial year 2023-24?

7. Yes If a Young person who is eligible for a Leaving Carer Service from Lincolnshire is a young parent, then they are entitled to additional funding (per child) to support with the costs of caring for a baby (see Core offer https://www.lincolnshire.gov.uk/childrens-social-care/leaving-care )

All those young people who are entitled to a leaving care services receive ongoing support through the Leaving Care service and are entitled to a Pathway Plan tailored to their individual needs.

This plan can include support with becoming and being a parent, additional finances and access to Family Hubs. A young parent’s network is being launch in Spring 2025 via the service participation team, and specific care leaver access to Family hubs is planned. YP’s social workers and Leaving Care workers work very closely with Family Hubs, Early Help teams and children’s social workers to ensure that young expectant care leaver parents are well supported and have access to advocacy.

Pathway plans identify and include needs and services about being a parent where applicable.
