1. How many fines for school absences were issued by your council to parents in the school year 2034-24?

2. How many have been issued so far in the school year 2024-25?

3. How many in school year 2022-23?

4. How many in school year 2021-22?

5. How many in school year 2020-21?

If you are able to break this down, can you please say how many of the fines listed above were repeated fines? Please give the figure for each school year. E.g. 23-24 total fines 100, of which repeated fines 20. A repeated fine is when a parents receives a second fine for the same child within any three-year period, this is charged at the higher rate of £160.
