Advice was given in-line with current national guidance:
Formal guidance relates to caravans and specific requirements on sites.
This guidance outlines that there should be at least 6 metres between caravan walls and at least 3 metres clear between associated equipment (e.g. car, awning) and the adjacent caravan.
This guidance focuses on trying to limit the potential for fire to spread between structures and is relevant to your area on the Lawns for the campervans.
The local authority determines what restrictions to impose, and it is suggested that a risk assessment is carried out in relation to the area and proposed use.
This will allow rationale and agreed requirements to be documented. The risk assessment should/could include specific details on considerations, e.g. restrictions to remove/lower the potential of a fire starting
