Children's Centres and Family Hubs
The Centre for Young Lives is a new independent think tank, founded and led by former Children's Commissioner for England Anne Longfield CBE, which is dedicated to improving the life chances of children and young people - especially those that are growing up in adversity.
We are asking for this information as part of our research into the delivery of integrated, place based early intervention support for children and families, including the potential for, and barriers to, further development. We will use this information to highlight the benefits of such support and advocate to the Treasury for greater funding through the 2025 comprehensive spending review to enable local authorities to provide more early intervention services like children's centres and family hubs.
We know how important this preventative support is in preventing future problems from storing up, bringing down need, and ultimately, bringing down local authority spending on costly crisis intervention.
