- Request
-
1. How much did Lincolnshire County Council (LCC) receive from central government for the repair/replacement of roads during the past ten months for the whole of Lincolnshire?
2. What was the expenditure on repairing/replacing/fixing potholes during the past ten months for the whole of Lincolnshire.
- Decision
-
1. LCC received £38,723,000 directly from the Department for Transport as a capital allocation for financial year 2024/2025 which forms around 34% of the total highways budget for the financial year.
2. The council budget for repairing carriageway potholes is around £6,000,000 for the financial year 2024/2025. It is not possible to give exact expenditure as LCC operates a complex reactive service and costs are not separated into carriageway pothole repairs only.
