Potholes and reports October 2024 to January 2025

I would like to request the following information under the Freedom of Information Act:


1) All potholes reported to the council from 31st October 2024 to 16th January 2025, including reports from the public and the council.

I can confirm that the information requested is held by Lincolnshire County Council. I have detailed below the information that is being released to you.  

 Total number of pothole jobs sent to the contractor during the period: 4954

Of these,

-          3695 were initially identified by the council as part of the inspection process.

-          1259 were initially identified by reports from the public.

The information provided is purely the pothole numbers we have defined individual completion data for, on a defect by defect basis. Some potholes will be repaired via other workstreams on a time charge or planned scheme basis, where material quantities but not individual pothole numbers are recorded. As Lincolnshire County Council (LCC) do not hold specific pothole data for these types of work, LCC are unable to use this information to answer this FOI request.
