Financial Support Provided to Afghan Refugees - Find a freedom of information request

I am writing to request the following information regarding financial support provided to Afghan refugees within your council area:



1. Specifically the Afghan Relocations and Assistance, used for driving/hobby grants



2. The total amount spent by the council or passed through the council on grants for Afghan refugees, including driving lessons, hobbies, or any other similar activities, since 2022.



3. A breakdown of these expenses by category (e.g., driving lessons, recreational hobbies, education, etc.).



4. The number of individuals who have benefitted from these grants in the stated time period.

I can confirm that some of the information requested is held by Lincolnshire County Council. I have detailed below the information that is being released to you.  
 
1. Nil for Lincolnshire County Council.  The responsibility/administration of this specific grant sits with District and Borough Councils.    
 
2.  Afghan Re-settlement Grant to support Afghan children with education/placement related costs.  It was not allocated for hobbies, driving lessons etc.  

3. Education/placement and uniforms = £532,637.50
