Private finance initiative (PFI) schools. - Find a freedom of information request

I am writing to you under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 to request information held by your council on its private finance initiative (PFI) schools. I'm getting in touch with local authorities with PFI schools approaching the expiry of their PFI contracts. Regarding this, I would like to find out:

1) The number of PFI schools approaching expiry, the name of the PFI contract(s) they're on and the name of the PFI company

2) Whether the council has begun its preparations for contract expiry. If so, when and what has it done and, if not, why

3) Whether it has been given a PFI health check by the Infrastructure and Projects Authority and, if so, what the rating was (preparedness is RAG rated). This link gives more details on the health checks:

4) The costs the council has incurred for any work associated with preparing for contract expiry.

I would like the costs to be broken down for each cost, showing the amount spent, the year the transaction was made and the reason for the cost If any of the information is already in the public domain, please can you direct me to it, with page references and URLs if necessary

I can confirm that the information requested is held by Lincolnshire County Council. I have detailed below the information that is being released to you.

1) The Council has 7 PFI Schools in Lincolnshire that expiry on 31st August 2032.It is a standard PFI contract. Focus Education (Lincolnshire) Ltd are the company.

2) The contract has 7 ½ years to go.

The Council have spoken to the Project Co and FM provider, where we will start having hand back meetings towards the latter part of this year.

The Project Co have undertaken a condition survey and hand back report where all elements will be completed by end of August 2025.

3) This will be started and completed during the latter part of this year.

4) No cost to date as still over 7 years to hand back
