Could you please provide the following data:

 

As of 17/2/2025:

 

1) The number of Education Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) maintained by the Authority.

2) The number of EHCPs for which pupils receive their education via Elective Home Education.

3) For pupils under question 2, the number of which are overdue their most recent annual review*.

4) The number of EHCPs where a pupil receives their education via Education Otherwise than at School/College.

5) For pupils under question 4, the number of which are overdue their most recent annual review.

6) Does the Authority currently have a team/officer whose purpose is specifically to process the annual reviews for pupils under questions 2 and 4?

7) Does the Authority currently have an 'annual review backlog' team?

8) Does the Authority currently outsource to a third party that is commissioned to process annual reviews?



* Specifically, this means that the EHCP has not been reviewed in the last 12 months. For the avoidance of doubt, this means the Authority has not issued a decision letter to parents or young person which concludes the review process.
