I can confirm that some of the information requested is held by Lincolnshire County Council. I have detailed below the information that is being released to you.
1. Yes
2. Not as an LA – this is covered, in part by the SENDCOP, but not specifically in relation to dyslexia.
3. Not as an LA, but national policy and guidance, such as the Equality Act, the SENDCOP and, until recently, the Rose Review guidance covered this. The Delphi report discusses this (replacing the rose guidance) and it is covered to some extent in the Assessment Practice Framework,
4. s. We would use terminology around their area(s) of difficulty, rather than words to describe the children. I am not sure that we can comment about what terminology is used in all schools as we do not support in all schools.
5. We provide recommendations, through reports and training, but it is down to individual schools to follow the national guidance on supporting children.
6.‘Difficulties acquiring Literacy skills’ is rather vague and could be open to interpretation. However, data on this is published online for anyone to access by the DfE, link as follows Step 1: Choose a Publication- Create your own tables
