Improvement and transformational models in Children.

 

1. Does your Local Authority have an Improvement Team or Programme/ Project  Management Office?

2. Does your Local Authority have a methodology to deliver projects? If Yes please list this below.  This could be Agile or Prince2 or something similar and localised.

 

3.Does your Local Authority have an Improvement Programme or dedicated projects  for the following service areas?

a)       Children's Social Care

b)      SEND and Special Educational Needs

c)       Public Health for Children's

 

4.Does this tie to an improvement requirement by Ofsted or other regulators?

5. Does your local authority use in house staff to deliver these projects or external teams or both?

6. Do you have a dedicated resource to provide data and insight to support improvement in childrens?

I can confirm that the information requested is held by Lincolnshire County Council. I have detailed below the information that is being released to you.  
 
1. The Council has a Transformation Service and yes, we have a methodology for delivering projects.

2. Prince 2

3a. We have the Children in Care Transformation Project, this is not related to an Ofsted requirement

b. Yes, we have a Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) and Alternative Provision Inclusion Plan which address the areas of improvement and development.

c. We do not have a dedicated Improvement Programme, but we do deliver Children's Public Health projects. For example, there are children and young people specific elements of commissioned services (OYL, Sexual Health, Drugs and Alcohol) and we also deliver ad hoc projects to support children's public health (from preconception through to aged 18 (25 for SEND)

4. Awaiting publication of report for recent Local Area Ofsted and CQC SEND Inspection. Inclusion Plan will address areas for improvement and subsequent workstreams.

5. We are using in house staff to manage this.

6. We do have a performance team dedicated to children's who provide data and insight.
