Q4) While we do have instances of accidental damage, as every library service does, these are not recorded as we understand that accidents happen and the damaged item is withdrawn from the collection. Should an item be deliberately defaced (perhaps because the reader disagreed with the contents) then this would be treated as an incident/act of vandalism, and we have no recorded instances of this for the three financial years listed
