We are interested in getting data from local authorities and National Parks that are responsible for responding to Definitive Map Modification Order requests (DMMOs).
If you are able to respond to some but not all of the questions below then please send the information that you do have.
1) How many requests for Definite Map Modification Orders DMMOs do you currently have pending or undetermined?
2) How many DMMOs did you report you had pending or undetermined in the FOI request made by the BBC for March 2024 (referenced here: bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c1k3719g0p4o)
3) How many blockages or obstructions to public rights of way did you report that you had on 31 October 2023, in the Environmental Information request referenced here (bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-67937253).
4) How many blockages or obstructions to public rights of way did you have on 31 October 2024? - Decision

I can confirm that the information requested is held by Lincolnshire County Council. I have detailed below the information that is being released to you.
1) There are 544 definitive map modification order applications awaiting determination
2) As referenced in the article linked, we reported 458 DMMO applications.
3) 1, however we recognise that this was incorrect and was a typographic error. The number we had on record for 31/10/2023 was 176, however the data we hold for this time is incomplete
4) We have 197 on record, however the data we hold for this time is incomplete.
In November 2024 we moved to a new system to record issues
