Grantham Southern Relief Road Progress

Q1) Please can I have information on the progress of the Grantham Southern Relief Road. The project has been ongoing for 10 years. I understand there have been design errors - twice. However the town is full of traffic all of the time, the relief road is needed urgently.



Q2) Please provide an update on timescales for completion, and confirmation that the previous bridge errors have been rectified.

2.The bridge design issues are well documented and summarised on the webpage. I can confirm that the designers are actively working through the redesign of the bridge launching process, with the aim of achieving the revised programme.

The Council are actively working towards the planned programme to deliver the GSRR project and provide regular updates on the webpage, as these become available, but at present the Council cannot confirm when the bridge redesign will be complete and installed as we do not hold this information.
