I am writing to request information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
Please provide the following information:
1) The number of staff positions within the council that could be described as connected to a Net Zero strategy. This might include positions with responsibilities related to:
a) Carbon reduction initiatives
b) Net Zero implementation
c) Sustainable energy programs
d) Climate policy development
e) Environmental sustainability coordination
2) If available, please provide:
a) job titles of these positions
b) the departments in which they are situated.
3) The total annual budget allocated to these positions (including salaries and operational costs).

I can confirm that the information requested is held by Lincolnshire County Council. I have detailed below the information that is being released to you.
1a-e. Lincolnshire County Council has 4 staff positions that undertake work as listed above however not all roles deliver the work in isolation to other duties within the team. In total the amount is 2.7 Full time equivalents (FTE)
2a-b. Sustainability Manager (0.6FTE) Principal Sustainability Officer (0.7FTE) Senior Sustainability Officer (0.6FTE) Sustainability Delivery Officer (0.8FTE) All positions located in the Place Directorate – Communities – Sustainability & Natural Environment.
3. £183,256 including salary, pension costs, National Insurance costs and ancillary operational costs (admin, mileage expenses etc). Figure is adjusted for the amount of FTE dedicated to the work described
