Education, Health and Care Plan top-up funding and associated provision for schools - Find a freedom of information request

I am requesting the following information regarding Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) top-up funding and associated provision for schools within the Lincolnshire Local Authority area.

Please provide the following information for the academic years 2022/2023, 2023/2024, and 2024/2025 to date:

School-Specific Top-Up Funding:

1) A breakdown of the total amount of EHCP top-up funding allocated to each school (primary, secondary, and special schools) within the Lincolnshire Local Authority.

a) Please provide this data in a format that identifies each school by name.

b) Please provide the data at the child level anonymised for each school.

EHCP Provision Details

2) For each school, a description of the types of provisions that are being funded by the EHCP top-up funding. This could be in the form of broad categories such as:

a) 1:1 support hours

b) SEP (Specialist Education Provision)

c) Integrated Resource Provision

EHCP Primary Needs

3) For each school/setting, please outline the primary need of pupils, as identified on their EHCP. Please ensure that any data provided is anonymised to protect the identity of individual pupils.

Funding Allocation

4) We request a copy of the current policy and criteria used by the Lincolnshire Local Authority to allocate EHCP top-up funding to schools. Please include any guidance documents or manuals used by the LA when determining funding levels.

2. It is not possible to answer this question. The schools will allocate and use top up funding with pupils as detailed within section F of the CYP’s EHCP.

3. Please note in the attached documents where numbers are below 10 the cell has been highlighted in yellow and figures removed to reduce the risk of individual pupils being identified.
