1. PAN Consultation Document

a) A copy of the Published Admissions Number (PAN) consultation document for school admissions in the academic year 2026/2027 co-ordinated or issued by the local authority on behalf of schools.

2. Meeting Minutes or Papers

b) Copies of any meeting agendas, minutes, notes, or briefing documents from internal or external meetings where PANs for 2026/2027 were discussed, revised, or approved.

This includes any documentation from:

i) Education or school planning teams

ii) School place planning boards or panels

iii) Cabinet or committee discussions

3. Correspondence with Schools

a) Copies of emails, letters, or briefings sent to schools within the local authority relating to:

i) The PAN consultation process for 2026/2027

ii) Any proposed or confirmed changes to PANs

iii) Requests for school views, responses, or feedback

LCC is not the appropriate source for information regarding discussions with own admission authorities about PAN reductions. As such matters fall within the remit of the respective admission authorities, any related enquiries should be directed to them directly.

3.LCC regularly review its admission arrangements, school capacity, and pupil numbers across the County. These discussions often take place across different teams and involve a wide range of colleagues, depending on the context and the schools involved. To gather and consolidate all of that information would require significant time and coordination, including revisiting internal conversations that may not be formally recorded. As such, responding fully to this request would exceed what we would consider to be a reasonable time limit. LCC has included the communication sent to schools regarding PAN changes.
