Q1) Since January 2020 to the present date, how many council employees/civil servants have been found to be working one or more additional full-time jobs while still employed full-time by your authority?



Q2) Since January 2020 to the present date, how many council employees were dismissed or disciplined because they were found to be working one or more additional full-time jobs while still employed full-time by your authority?



If possible, I request that the data be broken down by calendar year.

Decision

1. The Council's contract of employment does not prevent multiple contract working" - i.e. working more than one job when their contract forbids it. In accordance with the Code of conduct - Personal interests: https://www.lincolnshire.gov.uk/employment-policies/code-conduct/6 the Council will not prevent an employee from undertaking additional employment, providing it does not:

* conflict with the interests of, or in any way weaken public confidence in us

* in any way affect the performance of their duties and responsibilities whilst at work or

* where their current position could confer an advantage to their private interest or personal gain

 

2. Calendar Year Number of Employees Dismissed or disciplined because found to be working on one or more additional full time jobs whilst still employed full time by Lincolnshire County Council.
