RE: concerning children in care within residential settings and children's homes. I would be grateful if you could provide documentation or insights into the following:

1) Current Strategic Aims: The core objectives and philosophical underpinnings guiding Wigan Council's approach to the provision of residential care for children.

2) Ambitions for Residential Care/Homes: The desired future state and development plans for residential care services, including any projected expansion, diversification, or enhancement of provision.

3) Sufficiency Strategy: The detailed plan outlining how the Council ensures sufficient high-quality residential placements to meet the diverse needs of children in its care, including considerations of locality, specialisms, and therapeutic models.

4) Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Outcome Measures: Any publicly available data or internal metrics used to assess the effectiveness and success of residential care provisions in achieving positive outcomes for children.

I would ideally appreciate receiving this information as soon as you can, to inform my planning process. However, I understand that this may not be feasible and would be grateful for any information you can provide at your earliest convenience.
