Remote Council members

1) The number of meetings held by the Council in each of the last twelve months where Council Members were able to join remotely.

2) Copies of email correspondence between Cabinet members and council officials on the subject of remote access to Council meetings.

I can confirm that the information requested is held by Lincolnshire County Council. I have detailed below the information that is being released to you. 

1) The number of formal meetings of the Council (Full Council and Committees) where Members could access the meeting remotely are set out below. It should be noted that participation at these meetings via a team’s link is at the discretion of the Chairman, and any Members attending remotely would not be counted as ‘present’ or be permitted to vote on any matters.  This is in accordance with legislative requirements.

2) Since the appointment of the Cabinet in May 2025 there has been no email traffic between Cabinet Members and officers discussing the principal of remote access to Council meetings.
