Decision

1. As of 15th August, there were 1,571 recognised potholes recorded where a job had been raised and was yet to be competed.

a. Please find attached document showing this information. Note, since the 15th August, many of the jobs on the list have been completed and can be identified as such by looking at the last column, named ‘Current Job Work Status Number and Name’, all those recorded as ‘‘0400 Job | Complete’’, have been completed.

Should you require the attachments mentioned above please contact customerinformationservice@lincolnshire.gov.uk with the below reference number and this can be provided.

2. Lincolnshire County Council (LCC) do not record the cost of individual pothole repairs. LCC follows a risk-based approach to pothole repairs as set out in our Highways Asset Management Strategy which requires repairs to be carried out at differing response times depending on the risk to the public. Each of these repair times has a separate price and the number of repairs in each category can vary greatly. It is not possible to give exact expenditure as LCC operates a complete reactive service and costs are not separated into carriageway pothole repairs only. The Highways Asset Management Strategy can be found here: https://www.lincolnshire.gov.uk/downloads/file/1896/highways-asset-management-strategy
