a - Year and Month: From January 2019 to the most recent available data.



2. Annual Expenditure on Pothole Repairs, including:

a - Total Amount Spent: For each year from 2019 to the present.

b - Monthly Breakdown: If available.



3. Compensation Claims Related to Pothole Injuries:

a - Number of Claims Received: Broken down by year and month from 2019 onwards.

b - Number of Claims Approved and Compensation Paid Out: Including total amounts per year and month.

c - Average time taken to repair reported potholes.

1a. The figures below in the "Pothole repairs" column are potholes that have been assessed and identified for repair as a "pothole" by an LCC Highways Officer.

For information the number of public fault reports relating to potholes has been supplied too for the corresponding months. Potentially not all of these have required repair.

We do not have data available for 2019.

2a-b. Lincolnshire County Council (LCC) do not record the cost of individual pothole repairs. LCC follows a risk-based approach to pothole repairs as set out in our Highways Asset Management Strategy which requires repairs to be carried out at differing response times depending on the risk to the public. Each of these repair times has a separate price and the number of repairs in each category can vary greatly. It is not possible to give exact expenditure as LCC operates a complete reactive service and costs are not separated into carriageway pothole repairs only.
