A smoking cessation service

Please could you confirm:

1) If you commissioned a smoking cessation service from any community pharmacy last financial year (April 2024 to March 2025)

2) If any providers sub-contracted smoking cessation services to community pharmacy on your behalf last financial year (April 2024 to March 2025) 

3) If a service was commissioned either directly, or via a sub-contracting arrangement, please could you provide in an excel document:

4) The total number of community pharmacies commissioned to provide smoking cessation services between 1st April 2024 and 31st March 2025The NHS identifying codes (F-codes or ODS Code) of the commissioned pharmacies, or the full postal address of each commissioned pharmacy

5) The number of smoking cessation consultations (or confirmed quit attempts) provided by each pharmacy for each month between 1st April 2024 and 31st March 2025 

1-2. In response to Q1 and Q2: LCC do not directly commission smoking cessation to pharmacies. LCC commission OYL to deliver smoking cessation, who subcontract some of this to pharmacies. The details are contained within the attached spreadsheet, as requested.

3. The details are contained within the attached Table, as requested; the figures within the table refer to the number of Quit Dates Set by each pharmacy.
