Adult social care support

Could you please provide the following information

1. For people being assessed for adult social care support, does the council create an indicative allocation of money prior to support planning.

2. If the answer is yes, could you please provide, for all new service users whose support plan was agreed in the month of July this year, both the indicative allocation and value of the final personal budget.

I can confirm that the information requested is held by Lincolnshire County Council. I have detailed below the information that is being released to you.

1. Yes, a Ready Reckoner is used to calculate an Indicative Planning Budget. This is based on expected costs or the rates the Local Authority has agreed with providers through contracts. The Council uses the appropriate framework or prime provider rates for each service area.

2. Please see the attached table which shows the Indicative Budget, however we do not hold the final personal budget figures The first column ‘ID Number’ has been redacted.
