Income generated from school attendance fines is used by the local authority to fund the administration of the penalty notice system and to support school attendance functions. This includes staffing and operational costs directly linked to improving attendance across Lincolnshire, such as:

Strategic and administrative roles supporting attendance initiatives

 

This funding ensures the council can continue to fulfil our duties in relation to attendance, monitor attendance and support schools in improving and promoting regular attendance.
