RE: Email to customer Hykeham Road


I would like to make a freedom of information request with regards to this situation.

 

1. Can you please provide me with details of the agreed budget (and the date this was agreed), how the budget was then spent, and how the prices had increased so significantly that this work couldn't be completed?

 

2. Can you also please provide me with the same information regarding the previous work completed on the first section of Hykeham road in summer 2024 as a comparison. 

 

I am struggling to understand how agreed works can end without completion. 
 

I can confirm that the information requested is held by Lincolnshire County Council. I have detailed below the information that is being released to you. 

1. The agreed budget for the scheme £267,218.69 agreed 3rd July 2025. The scheme was delivered within the approved funding allocation, and no elements were omitted for financial reasons.

2. The agreed budget for the scheme £449,200.97 agreed 25th July 2024. The scheme was delivered within the approved funding allocation, and no elements were omitted for financial reasons.
