This is a second FOI request that also relates to request numbers 13746521 and 13905894.

Whereas those requests and the one earlier today were asking about historical and current payments from Lincolnshire County Council towards the maintenance of Lincoln's Titanic Bridge, this request is about any plans for LCC to pay for repairs/maintenance of the bridge.

In Hamish Falconer MP's 21st October email (attached) he says that there are to be:

1. Repairs to the concrete slab and surfacing

2. Installation of appropriate signage

3. Surface markings and staggered safety barriers

4. Movement joint specification

Questions:

1) Have any council officers (workers/employees) been involved in discussions about any of the above items (1 to 4)?

2) Have any councillors been involved in discussions about any of the above items (1 to 4)?

3) Has Lincolnshire County Council agreed to pay anything towards items (1 to 4) in:

a. 2024-2025

b. 2025-2026

Should you require the attachment mentioned above please contact customerinformationservice@lincolnshire.gov.uk with the below reference number and this can be provided.

Decision

1) No, LCC first became aware of this detail when a copy of the email from Hamish Falconer MP was provided to LCC (Lincolnshire County Council) on 22/10/25

2) No

3a) No

b) LCC leases Oak House from the freeholder and the lease requires LCC, along with the lessees of the adjacent buildings, to pay a proportion of the annual repair and maintenance costs for Titanic Bridge.

If any of the above works are undertaken and billed for in 2025-2026 then LCC will be obliged to pay a relevant amount.
