Arrow Painting Contractors

Request

I appreciate that signs stating 'No Road Markings' are placed there prior to the work, and continue to be visible following the line painting, and until the arrows are painted,

the latter often done some time later.

So my questions are these, and only apply the period following the arrows being painted.:

1. Are the arrow painting contractors, as part of their SLA/contract, contracted to remove the No Road Markings signs following their part of the work?

2. If not, why not?

3. If not practical to do this, is there a procedure in place to visit the site to remove the signs?

4. If not, why not?
