Residential care placements for children in private and independent care homes.

Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, I am requesting information regarding the council's expenditure on residential care placements for children in private and independent care homes.

Please provide the following information:

1. The total expenditure for the last ten completed financial years: 2014/15, 2015/16, 2016/17, 2017/18, 2018/19, 2019/20, 2020/21, 2021/22, 2022/23, and 2023/24.

2. The proportion of spending on council run care homes in relation to private providers for the last ten completed financial years: 2014/15, 2015/16, 2016/17, 2017/18, 2018/19, 2019/20, 2020/21, 2021/22, 2022/23, and 2023/24.
