Weekly direct costs for care packages

I am writing to request anonymised, aggregated data under the Freedom of Information Act 2000. The purpose of this request is to better understand service usage and support provided across different age groups.

Please provide the data in Excel format, with clear column headings and units (e.g., £ for costs, number of claimants). The data should be broken down into the following categories:

Working age: 64 and under

Non-working age: 65 and over

If possible, please include both totals and percentage breakdowns for each category.

I would appreciate data for the most recent full financial year (April 2024 - March 2025). If this is not available, please provide the latest data you hold and indicate the time period covered.

Specifically, I am requesting information on:

1. Adult Social Services

a. Weekly direct costs for care packages (and the different types of care packages)

b. Current volumes of care packages provided.

2. Blue Badge Scheme

a. Total number of blue badges currently issued.

b. Average cost incurred by the council to recover a blue badge (e.g., due to loss, expiry, or death).

3. Housing Benefit

a. Percentage of Housing Benefit claims by age group.

b. Average weekly Housing Benefit cost per claim for each age group.

4. Council Tax Support

a. Total number of claimants by Council Tax Band and age group.

b. Number or percentage of claimants receiving a full discount.

c. Average discount awarded to claimants in each band.

5. Electoral Register

a. Total number of residents currently listed on the electoral register by age group.

b. Estimated annual cost to the council for maintaining electoral register records (including updates, correspondence, and administrative processing).

c. Average cost incurred by the council to process a single amendment or removal from the register (e.g., due to death or change of address).

2. Blue Badge

a. As at 31/10/2025 there are 59,327 blue badge holders within the county of Lincolnshire

b. No loss is incurred (the badge in cancelled via our case management system that is linked to the Department for Transport (Dft))
