Job Descriptions Initially Graded by HR

Request

For the period from 01/04/2024 to 01/12/2025, excluding roles based in LCC maintained schools:

1. How many LCC Job Descriptions were initially Graded by HR, where the resulting Grading was not acceptable to the appointing managers; and HR advice was sought by the appointing managers, as to how the Job Description could be re-written/tweaked to result in a higher Grading.

An approximate answer will be sufficient.

Decision

I can confirm that the information requested is held by Lincolnshire County Council. I have detailed below the information that is being released to you. 

 

1. From 01/04/2024 to 01/12/2025 - approximately 19 positions have had the JE outcome appealed by the Manager, and have had a 2nd [JER2] review.

 

Of the 19 positions 18 job descriptions were rewritten by the manager and subsequently evaluated at a higher grade.  One job description was evaluated at a lower graded after being rewritten.
