Installation of Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure

In relation to the Freedom of Information Act, please could you advise as to whether your organisation has introduced and implemented a policy covering the following:

 

1. Supporting Staff with the Installation of Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure at their home.

2. Making a travel claim or any form of reimbursement for charging electrical vehicles at home (Personal or work provided) for the purpose of work-related travel.

3. If so, could you please provide a copy of this policy.

I can confirm that the information requested is held by Lincolnshire County Council. I have detailed below the information that is being released to you. 

1. The Council does not support employees with the installation of electric vehicle charging equipment at their home.

2. We do not reimburse employees for the cost charging their electric vehicle at home, however if they use an electric car for work purposes, they are reimbursed 45 pence per mile for the first 10,00 miles and then 25 pence per mile thereafter
