- To understand the consequences of poor and risky behaviours/choices can have on those involved directly and indirectly in RTCs.
- To understand how a driver’s skills, abilities and behaviours when influenced by the FATAL 5 are severely impacted.
- To be empowered to make safer choices in the future and be safer road users.

Please provide a brief description around what the workshop or resources will offer the intended audience:
The Fatal 5 refers to the five main behaviours that cause serious road incidents: speeding, not wearing a seatbelt, distraction, drink/drug driving and careless driving. This interactive and engaging session explores these key causational factors in detail linking real life incidents and experiences relating to young drivers and passengers aged 17-24
Students will:
- Explore the the legal, and personal consequences of poor choices and risky behaviours.
- Consider the consequential effect of the FATAL 5 on a driver’s skills, attributes and behaviour.

This 1 hour assembly/session is available to all Year 12/13 students across Lincolnshire and also to colleges and universities.
