Year to Date Financial Expenditure

I am requesting cost data your authority already holds in finance or procurement systems. To avoid any Section 12 cost issues, I am not requesting case-level records.



1. Year-to-Date (YTD) expenditure - 2025/26 For the current financial year 2025/26, please provide the total expenditure to date, up to and including 21 November 2025, on: translation services interpretation services telephone or remote interpreting face-to-face interpreting British Sign Language (BSL) services translated documents any other language services recorded under separate codes



2. Previous full financial years For each of the following financial years: 2024/25 2023/24 2022/23 2021/22 Please provide the annual totals for expenditure on the same categories listed in Section 1.



3. Supplier totals (aggregated only) For all years requested, please provide: the names of suppliers used, and the total amount paid to each supplier per financial year. No invoices or contracts are requested.



4. Language usage data (optional, if held) If it is recorded and can be provided within the cost limit, please provide: the top 10 most-used languages each year, and/or total number of interpreting or translation jobs per year. If this data is not held, or would exceed cost limits, please confirm.



5. Procurement framework Please confirm: whether the council procures language services through a framework (e.g., ESPO, CCS, YPO) the name/reference of the framework used the year it was last awarded No tender documents or pricing are requested.

I can confirm that the information requested is held by Lincolnshire County Council. I have detailed below the information that is being released to you. 

 1. YTD spend for 2025/2026, up to and including 21 November 2025, on all interpretation and translation services is £164,068.91. This includes primary contracted supplier and additional suppliers when required.

3. Lincolnshire County Council (LCC) have a primary contractor but secondary contractors are used on occasion to fulfil bookings that cannot be sourced with the primary contractor due to timescales, necessity, or availability etc.
