Swan Street and Grantham Street, Lincoln Bollards

I am writing to request information regarding a road bollard located at the junction of Swan Street and Grantham Street, Lincoln.

I would be grateful if you could advise:

1) whether this bollard complies with current road safety standards and Department for Transport (DfT) guidance,

2) whether a risk assessment or road safety audit was carried out prior to its installation,

3) and which department or contractor is responsible for its installation and maintenance.

1. There is no DfT guidance for the installation of these bollards.

2. Lincolnshire County Council (LCC) has no records of any Road Safety Audit that was done as part of the scheme development as any documents stored would now be outside retention periods.
