PFAS Communications

Please confirm/provide the following:

1. Any documents (including, but not limited to any policies, memos, communications, advice) regarding PFAS generally and/or PFAS exposure.

2. Whether you have, at any point, conducted any testing for PFAS levels in blood on any firefighters within your workforce.

3. If you have conducted testing, please confirm the type of testing carried out and provide the data results.

4. If you have not conducted testing, please confirm on what basis this decision has been made.
 

I can confirm that the information requested is held by Lincolnshire County Council. I have detailed below the information that is being released to you. 

1. An email is attached that references PFAS directly. Nothing else was found.

2. No testing has been undertaken.

3. Not Applicable as no testing undertaken.

4. PFAS has not yet been classed by LFR as a specific significant risk to appear on LFR risk registers but is coming under the general requirement of contaminant management which is being managed by the contaminants group
