1) I am writing in relation to a recent order of highways data. Please could you provide some information on the source of this data and how it is compiled?

 The data I'm referring to the Highways Search data. I have attached the data that I was previously sent through as an example of this. Please could you let me know how this data is acquired. Please let me know if you have any more questions and I will aim to get back to you as quickly as possible. 

The result reference is an extent plan provided by the searches team in regards to a submitted extent search request.

The information supplied is a PDF record taken from a digitalised version of historic records held by Lincolnshire County Council that depict the maintenance responsibility of the highway network according to a range of both historic and legal records held be Lincolnshire County Council.

The colouring in question identifies those areas that are maintained at public expense according to those public records, the information is built as a layer over the OS Mapping data with the permission of the Controller of His Majesty's Stationery Office © Crown Copyright
