Computers deployed in the council

1) I am asking to request data for the following - if available - and for the period January 2020 - December 2025 with 'computers' referring to laptop and desktop computers:

1a) The total number of computers deployed within your council in any capacity,

1b) The number or proportion of computers that have been replaced,

1c) The number or proportion of computers that have been replaced due to inadequate software support, and

1d) The proportion of computers that are using a version of the Linux Operating System.

a. 6,360 laptops and desktops were showing as In use and created before the end of December 2025.

b. This granular level of detail was not captured as part of the service transition as it was not required.
